Before the day of logging into your computer or blackberry to play farmville, or petshop on facebook or myspace, there was a very elite group of true gamers, they called themselves, D&D warriors. For those of you who do not know what I am referring to, stick to what you know. Role playing games have come along way since those groups that use to gather in mom and dads basement playing Dungeons and Dragons on their old home computers with the black and green computer screens. Nowadays one can log into just about any role playing game site, register and start playing. Whether you are a fan of sci fi games, medieval times, or fantasy. There is something out there for just about everyone. The downside to these kinds of online games, is most of them are going to require a membership, such popular online role playing games such as Everquest, and World of Warcraft. Which are both two highly graphic and 'realistic' fantasy online role playing games. It is very easy to get involved in these types of games. Now available on playstation, Wii and Xbox. Role playing games are coming out of there shell, and we will seeing alot more of these type of online game. There is nothing like sitting in the comfort of your living room, or dorm room and playing a game as a new character, with a new identity, while playing against someone that you have never met, that it sitting in their living room, half way around the world.
